So Long, Summer

It is always so hard to say goodbye to summer, for another year. What is there not to love? Summer means relaxing, reading a book on the beach, playing ball in the sand. Picnics, and sunsets. To think that I have to wait for another three seasons, before I can revisit my beloved summer. So long, summer of 2010. You were far too short for me this year.

Gabz

Well, here we were at Lake Michigan, In Wisconsin. The wind was blowing, and I was not about to go in the water. It has to be pretty hot for me to go in the lake! Gabz was cold, and everyone else was still swimming, so we had fun taking pictures.

Wide Open spaces...

Nothing like a lazy Sunday afternoon, to play in the fields.

In Memory of Curly and Arliene

I found a poem that reminded me of Curly and Arliene's love story. Their love was an inspiration, and I will always remember them. They were laid to rest, together, on August 12, 2010. Forever and always.

The question is asked, "Is there anything more beautiful

in life than a boy and a girl clasping hands and pure in

hearts in the path of marriage? Can there be anything

more beautiful than young love?" And the answer is

given. "Yes, there is a more beautiful thing. It is the

spectacle of an old man and an old woman finishing their

journey together on that path. Their hands are gnarled,

but still clasped; their faces are seamed, but still radiant;

their hearts are physcially bowed and tired, but still strong

with love and devotion for on another. Yes, there is a more

beautiful thing than young love. Old love."

Country Roads

Found a great little spot on a back country road for Kirstie's outdoor pictures.

Eclectic Twist

Took some indoor Senior pictures of Kirstie at the Eclectic Twist, in Howell. So much fun, with so many great spots to take pictures. Thanks to Nancy Anderson for allowing us to come, and for all her great input.

David

Had a rockin' good time taking senior pictures of David. It started to rain at one point, but we worked with the rain.
